DUI arrest
BEECH CREEK — A 47-year-old Beech Creek driver was taken into custody following a stop Sunday at 12:29 a.m. for driving under the influence, state police at Rockview said.
The suspect was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw. Charges are pending, police said.
DUI checkpoint results
WILLIAMSPORT — Over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, state police conducted DUI roving patrols and sobriety checkpoints in Lycoming County.
Eight DUI arrests and multiple traffic arrests were made, according to state police.
Failure to confine dog
LOCK HAVEN — Zachariah Baney, 26, of Lock Haven, received a citation for failing to keep his dog confined on his premises on Sunday, Lock Haven city police said.
The incident happened at the rear of Baney’s residence on East Church Street at 12:38 p.m., city police said.
