Vehicle hits deer
LOCK HAVEN — James A. Anonie, 21, of Lock Haven, struck a deer as it crossed the road in front of him, as he drove a 2015 Jeep Patriot. Neither Anonie or his passenger, Carolina Noeggerath, 19, of Like Oak, Texas, were hurt in the accient, police said. The accident occurred at 4:12 p.m. July 26, on Route 654 in Armstrong Township, Lycoming County.
State police at Montoursville said the deer crossed the roadway in front of the Jeep. After impact, the Jeep came to a stop on the berm of the highway and suffered disabling damage. It was towed from the scene, police said.
PHILIPSBURG — Ryan Luzier, 29, of Clearfield, is accused of driving under the influence, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct following an incident in the 200 block of Seventh Street in Philipsburg at 5:20 p.m. July 27.
State police at Rockview report that Luzier was observed yelling and jumping on the hood of his vehicle, which was stopped at the Seventh Street location. It was determined the accused was under the influence of a combination of drugs, police said.
A search of the accused’s vehicle discovered he was in possession of drugs and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia. Luzier was charged with DUI, possession of drugs and paraphernalia and disorderly conduct, police said.
SNOW SHOE — Michael Bloom, 24, of Snow Shoe, is charged with simple assault following an incident on West Honeysuckle Lane in Snow Shoe at 8 p.m. July 20, according to state police at Rockview.
Police said the charges stem from a domestic dispute with a white female, age 24.
