Car strikes concrete barrier

MONTOURSVILLE — A Honda Civic LX driven by Jason Laninger, 30, of Jersey Shore, was traveling north on Route 15 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete barrier at 6:15 a.m. Monday morning, according to state police at Montoursville.

Laninger was uninjured, police said.

Minor injuries in

one-vehicle crash

SUGARLOAF — Destiny Karichner, 18, of Jersey Shore, was involved in a one vehicle crash on Sept. 6, state police at Montoursville said.

The incident occurred as she was traveling westbound on Turkey Path Road in Anthony Township, as she ran off the roadway and into a ditch, according to police. The operator was transported to Williamsport Hospital for minor injuries and the car was towed from the scene by Aikey’s Towing, police said.

Property damage

SPRING MILLS –A 57-year-old woman from Spring Mills reported that an unknown vehicle drove through her yard between Sept. 3 and Sept. 4, causing damage to her property, according to state police at Rockview. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 814-355-7545.

Two counts of harassment

BELLEFONTE — According to the state police at Rockview, a 56-year-old man from Millheim and a 47-year- old woman from Stewartown engaged in a domestic physical altercation on Coburn Road, Penn Township on Aug. 25.

Both parties were cited for harassment through the District Court, police said.

Criminal mischief

HOWARD –A 42-year-old man of Howard reported that an unknown person damaged a window on his property between the dates of Aug. 30 and Sept. 4, The window displayed residue of dry egg, state police at Rockview said.

Aggravated harassment

by prisoner

ROCKVIEW — A 39-year-old inmate at SCI Benner is being investigated due to an incident of aggravated harassment by a prisoner that occurred at 301 Institution Drive, Benner Township on Aug. 6, state police at Rockview say.

In commission of this crime, the suspect assaulted two employees, a 29-year-old and a 42-year -old, both of Bellefonte, after he was told he was receiving misconduct violations, police said.

Stolen firearm

BELLEFONTE– Tpr. Jonathan S. Hodges with state police at Rockview is investigating a theft from motor vehicle incident that happened in Rush Township, Centre County, police said.

The victim, known and unnamed, reports a firearm was stolen from his vehicle between the dates of Aug. 14 through Aug. 21, police said.

Minor injuries in crash

LOYALSOCK — A crash occurred on Old Montoursville Road early in the morning of Sept. 9 when Jonathon Curtis, 29 of Linden was traveling eastbound and his Ford F150 collided with a Toyota 4 Runner driven by Frederick Jenkins, 62 of Montoursville, state police at Montoursville said.

Jenkins was transported to Williamsport Hospital with suspected minor injuries, while Curtis was uninjured, police said. Both drivers were wearing their safety belts, police said.
