Pedestrian injured

LOCK HAVEN — A pedestrian was struck at 8:12 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Church and Jay streets, city police said.

Melissa G. Walker, driving a Ford Fusion, stopped at a traffic light on East Church Street and when the light changed, turned left onto Jay Street, striking Krysten A. Johnstonbaugh in the crosswalk, city police said. There was so much glare from the sun that she did not see the woman in the crosswalk, police said.

Johnstonbaugh was injured and Lock Haven EMS took her to UPMC Susquehanna Lock Haven for treatment, police said.

No charges will be filed, police said.

Hit-and-run

LOCKPORT — A Hyundai Sante Fe was struck by an unknown vehicle in the lot at Lockport Boat Launch Park on Wednesday, sometime between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m., Woodward Township Police report. The SUV had minor damage to its left front quarter panel, police said.
