Sexual assault alleged

BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating reported incidents of sexual assault at the State Correctional Facility involving a 52-year-old male and a 28-year-old male, both from Bellefonte, on Aug. 31 and Sept. 18 at approximately 6 a.m. This case remains under investigation, police said.

Indecent exposure

PHILIPSBURG — On Sept. 4 a juvenile male allegedly exposed himself to two female juveniles at Slabtown Park on 13th Street in Philipsburg, according to state police at Rockview.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Two-vehicle crash

LOCK HAVEN — A crash occurred on Oct. 4 at approximately 10 a.m. when Mackenzie Grandis, of Lock Haven, when she “blew through” a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by Parrish Monroe, also of Lock Haven, city police said.

The crash occurred on Bellefonte Avenue near South Summit Street. Grandis told police she was distracted by trying to get a pillow for her cat, police said. Grandis’ vehicle had disabling damage to the front of the vehicle and was towed from the scene by Martin Motors, while Munroe’s vehicle had minor damage and he was able to drive away from the scene, according to police.

Citations have been filed against Grandis for a stop sign violation and for careless driving, police said.
