Public drunkenness

PHILIPSBURG — David Wayne Hemsley, 26, of Philipsburg, was cited for public drunkenness after shouting loudly and knocking on the door and windows of a home on Terry Street, Rush Township, Centre County yesterday, state police at Rockview said.

Hemsley was found to be highly intoxicated and did not know he was at the wrong home, police said.

Hemsley was taken to the correct home and a citation will be filed through district court, police said.

Laptop, Playstation 4 stolen

PHILIPSBURG — A Dell Latitude 6400 laptop, a black Playstation 4 and camo wireless controllers, five Playstation 4 games, body lotion and a pair of black pants were stolen from a home at 124 N. Centre St., Philipsburg on Aug. 27, state police at Rockview said.

The theft occurred between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., police said.

Domestic dispute leads to arrest

PORT MATILDA — State police at Rockview were called to a domestic dispute in progress on Sept. 23 at 2:28 p.m. on Interstate 99 near mile marker 68.1, Patton Township, Centre County.

Following an on-scene investigation it was found that Demetrius Daquan Ward, 22, of Belle Vernon, Pa., was in possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana, police said.

Charges are pending and will be filed through district court, police said.

Theft by unlawful taking

HOWARD — Multiple items were stolen from a home at 192 Eick Lane, Marion Township, between Sept. 11 and 18, state police at Rockview said.

Upon further investigation it was found that a known suspect, name withheld, removed numerous items from the home, police said.

The investigation continues, police said.

Harassment alleged

BELLEFONTE — Dain Welch, 35, no address listed, was arrested on Sept. 19 at 11:43 a.m. for harassing a 33-year-old woman during a domestic dispute in Boggs Township, Centre County, police said.

Multiple DUIs alleged

BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview conducted three investigations into possible DUIs between Aug. 18 and Sept. 28 in Centre County.

r A 37-year-old Fleming man was found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Aug. 18 on the 8200 Block of S. Eagle Valley Rd., Worth Township, police said.

The investigation continues, police said.

r Lindsay Perryman, 24, no address listed, was arrested on Aug. 27 at 2:29 p.m. for driving under the influence on North Pennsylvania Avenue near East Ridge Street, Centre Hall, police said.

Perryman was also found to be possession of marijuana, police said.

r Joseph Jordan Taylor, 25, of Philadelphia, was found to be driving under the influence during a traffic stop on Sept. 28 on Route 322, Harris Township, police said.

Taylor was pulled over for multiple traffic violations, police said.
