Life flight called to vehicle accident with entrapment

BEECH CREEK – A section of Route 150 in Bald Eagle Township was shut down last night as multiple emergency responders from both Clinton and Centre counties were called to a vehicle accident with entrapment in front of the Dollar General at 455 Eagle Valley Rd., Bald Eagle Township, the Clinton County Communications Center said.

The accident was first reported at approximately 5:59 p.m. with one person trapped in the vehicle and four others injured, the center said.

Fire departments from Beech Creek, Blanchard and Howard as well as Lock Haven and Goodwill EMS responded to the scene, the center said.

At approximately 6:22 p.m., Life Flight was called to the scene with emergency responders setting up a landing zone at a baseball field near the American Legion located on Wynn Avenue.

The helicopter’s estimated arrival time was 14 minutes, the center said.

The center reported the extraction of one person from the vehicle complete at 6:36 p.m.

Eagle Valley Road was reopened at 7:18 p.m. and all responding units were available at 7:33 p.m., the center reported.
