Drug possession

WILLIAMSPORT — A 22-year-old Williamsport woman and a 27-year-old Linden woman were arrested on Oct. 13 at approximately 11 p.m. for possession of a small amount of marijuana, according to Montoursville state police.

The incident occurred at the 200 block of Shiffler Avenue in Loyalsock Township, police said, but the names of the women were not released.

Two hurt after

three-vehicle crash

BELLEFONTE — John Leedy, 69, of Port Matilda, and Lori Conklin, 60, of Bellefonte were transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by the Bellefonte EMS with suspected minor injuries on Nov. 20, after a three vehicle crash occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m., state police at Rockview said.

The crash occurred as Leedy was travelling north in the southbound lane and struck Conklin’s vehicle head on, continuing to travel northbound until Leedy’s vehicle also struck the vehicle of another driver, Sharon Witmer, 57, of Bellefonte, who was not injured, police said. All three vehicles sustained disabling damage, police reported.

Theft of locks

COBURN — A 62-year-old victim from Coburn reported to state police at Rockview that two locks have gone missing at Gravel Road, 121 Sawmill Drive, Coburn between Oct. 24 and Nov. 12.

Firearms act violation

BELLEFONTE –State police at Rockview report that they are investigating a Firearms Act Violation after a female from Pleasant Gap, name withheld, attempted to purchase a firearm at J and E Guns, 125 Rockrimmon Dr., Spring Township on Aug. 9.

The known individual is prohibited from purchasing or possessing a firearm, police said.
