Two-vehicle crash

LINDEN — One driver had a suspected minor injury in a two-vehicle crash at 6:26 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, on Route 220 in Woodward Township, state police at Montoursville said.

Police said a vehicle operated by Donny McPherson, 54, of Jersey Shore, was southbound and failed to stop as a vehicle driven by Robert Kibler, 75, of Williamsport, was waiting to merge into traffic. McPherson’s 2013 Cadillac Escalade struck the rear of Kibler’s 2005 Dodge Stratus, police said.

Kibler was transported to Williamsport Hospital with what police called suspected minor injury. McPherson will be cited for following too closely, police said.

Driver transported to hospital

DUNNSTOWN — An elderly man driving a small pickup truck was taken to Williamsport Hospital with head injuries Tuesday afternoon, according to Woodward Township police.

The accident occurred in front of 103 Woodward Ave. just before 4 p.m. as the driver was southbound on Route 150 and lost control of his truck, which traveled onto the west berm and collided with guide rails, police said.

The truck had severe damage, police said.

Further details were not released by police.
