Theft by deception
LOCK HAVEN — State police in Montoursville are investigating a complaint from Robert Heltman, 88, of Lock Haven, of fradulent charges through Western Union on the victim’s bank account. The charges occurred between Sept. 24 and Oct. 6, to the sum of $704.97, police said.
DUI crash alleged
LINDEN — On Nov. 26, at approximately 10 p.m., state police at Montoursville responded to a one vehicle crash on Route 220, the area just south of the Williamsport city line, Lycoming County. The driver, a 29-year-old male of Linden, was suspected of operating a vehicle while impaired, police said, and this is an ongoing investigation with charges pending.
DUI alleged
BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating an incident of an alleged drunk driver.
Police said a 31-year-old Bellefonte man was stopped at West Sycamore Street and Moshannon Avenue at 3 a.m. Nov. 25 for a stop sign violation and it was determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
