Woman charged

with assault, harassment

JERSEY SHORE — Rebecca Peters, 40, of 2837 Route 44, Jersey Shore, was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly kicking boyfriend Scott Marshall in the face with a steel toe boot at the Route 44 address on Dec. 9, police said. She was released on $15,000 bail.

Man charged with

avoiding appehension

JERSEY SHORE — Adam Worden 40, of 195 Whyne Road, Jersey Shore, was charged by the Lycoming County Sheriff’s Department with flight to avoid apprehension for allegedly fleeing his home to the Red Roof Inn on Route 15 in South Williamsport on Nov. 27. He was apprehended, taken into custody at the Red Roof Inn and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail, police said.

Alleged DUI’s

JERSEY SHORE — Larry Welch, 60, of 114 Flanders Lane, Jersey Shore was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional police with DUI and disorderly conduct in the 1300 block of Allegheny Street in Jersey Shore on Nov. 23, police said. Welch was sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

Also, Jonathan Tindell, 41, of 1047 Level Corners Road, Linden, was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional police with DUI on Route 220 in Piatt Township on Nov. 4. He was sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

Man charged with felony theft

JERSEY SHORE — Jared Lewis, 19, of Danville, formerly of Jersey Shore, was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional police with felony theft, felony receiving stolen property and misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Police said Lewis allegedly stole Heather Aikey’s car from her home at 405 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, on Sept. 25. Lewis was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.
