Fugitive located

BEECH CREEK — Michael Scot Shade, 43, was taken into custody without incident on Jan. 30 on an outstanding arrest warrant while at the Uni-Mart in Beech Creek.

Police officers from Woodward Township along with state police at Lamar made the arrest. Police have been attempting to located Shade since the middle of December when a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was charged with several counts of terroristic threats and harassment.

Shade was placed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility.

Theft of motor vehicle

BELLEFONTE — Tara Shutt, 26, of Centre Hall, allegedly stole a 2012 Kia Sorento from a driveway at Redwood Drive, Benner Township, according to state police at Rockview.

The victim is identified as a 78-year-old female, and police believe Shutt left the area in an unknown direction, police said. Anyone with information should contact PSP Rockview at 814-355-7545.

Drug possession

MILESBURG — A traffic stop was conducted due to several traffic violations on High Street, Milesburg, on Dec. 28 and Ronald Dyke, 52, of Howard, was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, according to state police at Rockview.

Blood results were obtained and charges were filed, police said.

Assault at prison

BELLEFONTE — State Police at Rockview are investigating an assault at SCI Rockview. The victim is listed as a 28-year-old male from Bellefonte, and the case remains under investigation.

Two-vehicle crash reported

MILL HALL — State Police at Lamar investigated a two-vehicle crash at 11:41 a.m. on Jan. 22 in Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County. Police report that a Pontiac Sunfire being driven by Charles Miller of Beech Creek was legally parking when it was struck by a vehicle being driven by a 17-year-old driver, who fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Miller’s vehicle sustained a dent and scrape. The investigation continues.

No injuries in two-vehicle crash

MILL HALL — State Police at Lamar were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Route 220 in Bald Eagle Township at 7:05 a.m. on Jan. 24.

According to police, a Honda Pilot driven by Megan Ulsamer, 32, of Lock Haven was traveling north when she attempted to pass a tractor trailer driven by Cody Croyle, 32, of Spring Mills. Ulsamer’s vehicle slid on the slippery roadway, struck a guardrail and struck the tractor trailer, police said.

No injuries were reported.

One-vehicle crash

MILL HALL — State Police at Lamar were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash along Route 220 in Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, at 7:07 p.m. on Jan. 23.

According to police, a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer being driven by Colleen Truax of Lock Haven left the slippery roadway, struck a guardrail and traveled over it. The vehicle came to rest on its driver’s side.

No injuries were reported.
