Laundromat robbed

BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating a case of theft and assault that took place at the Mrs. Suds Laundromat, 807 Pleasantview Boulevard in Spring Township on July 7.

Police say at approximately 8:25 p.m., a white male entered the laundromat and removed change from the change machine. At that time, the owner’s son confronted the man. There was a brief scuffle and the man sustained a minor injury when he fell. The man fled the scene in a red SUV toward Bellefonte.

Woman injured in

one-vehicle crash

JERSEY SHORE — A Jersey Shore woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash that took place on July 5.

State police at Montoursville report that Katharine Hendricks, 18, of Jersey Shore was traveling southbound along Furnace Run Road when her 2003 Volkswagen Jetta traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment. The Jetta then spun clockwise before coming to rest approximately 40 feet from the initial point of contact.

Hendricks sustained an injury in the crash and was taken to UPMC Williamsport for treatment. She was cited for the crash.

The crash took place at 7:45 p.m.

Man charged with

disorderly conduct

LOCK HAVEN — A Lock Haven man was charged with disorderly conduct on July 3.

According to Lock Haven City Police, John Weaver, 40, confronted individuals he felt were making too much noise along the 300 block of North Grove Street. According to police, Weaver confronted the individuals with a baseball bat during the argument.

Weaver was given a summons for his behavior during the 11:05 p.m. incident.

Woman threatens man with bat

JERSEY SHORE — State police at Montoursville report an incident of harassment on July 5.

According to police, Nicole Hart, 34, of Jersey Shore, threatened a 31-year-old man with a baseball bat. The incident took place at 6:50 p.m. along Corey Lane. The investigation continues and charges are pending.

Vehicle damaged

MILESBURG — State police at Rockview investigated a case of criminal mischief that took place on July 4.

Police said that an unknown person damaged a 2014 Ford Fusion owned by a 27-year-old Milesburg woman. The incident took place sometime between 2 a.m. and 11:57 a.m. Damage is estimated at less than $1,000. The investigation continues.
