Lock Haven woman killed in crash; Loganton man seriously injured
CLEARFIELD – A Lock Haven woman was killed in what state police are calling a DUI crash on Sunday evening on Route 53, Woodward Township, Clearfield County.
Mary Teresa Caprio, 70, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Medical Command.
Caprio was a passenger in a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air driven by Gary K. Stover, 71, of Loganton. Stover was air-lifted to UPMC Altoona with serious injuries.
State police from Clearfield said the multi-vehicle accident began about 6:15 p.m. Sunday when Gregory Millinder Jr., 31, of Madera, lost control of his 2012 Jeep Wrangler while southbound on Route 53 and entered the oncoming lane of traffic, striking the rear of a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette.

Millinder and an 8-year-old girl in his vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said.
All three vehicles sustained debilitating damage and were towed from the scene, police said.
Route 53 was closed for several hours to allow for the investigation and reconstruction.
