LH Weis store asks for liquor license

LOCK HAVEN – The local Weis market may soon have a beer and wine cafe like the one in the Mill Hall grocery store.

Weis Markets has applied for a restaurant license for the Lock Haven store at 313 W. Bald Eagle St., and a copy of the application is posted in the grocery store’s window. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board lists the license as “pending.”

Lock Haven City Council is expected to vote on the idea at its meeting Monday at 7 p.m.
