Search for new KC super narrowed to four

Public to get a chance to weigh in

MILL HALL – The search for a new superintendent of Keystone Central School District has been narrowed to four candidates.

Among those four is the current substitute superintedent, Dr. Alan Lonoconus.

Board President Charles Rosamilia contacted The Express today to offer an update on the search.

He said the board completed the preliminary assessment and interview process Thursday night involving up to eight total candidates and narrowed the field to four people.

The identities of the other three will not be disclosed yet at the request of those candidates, Rosamilia said.

The initial interviews this week were by Skype.

Next are visits to the district by the four candidates, set for March 14, 15, 21 and 22.

See Saturday’s print edition of The Express for a more thorough report.
