The National Weather Service has issued a “Severe Thunderstorm Watch: in effect until 8 p.m. in Central Pennsylvania.

A line of strong thunderstorms was approaching from the west and had hit Renovo about 1:30 p.m.

Gusty winds and lightning are accompanying the storm.

The NWS also issued a Tornado Warning for northwestern Lycoming County, southern Potter, southern Tioga and northern Clinton Counties.

“These dangerous storms will be near… Cammal, Slate Run and Cedar Run around 140 PM EDT. English Center and Little Pine State Park around 150 PM EDT. Buttonwood around 200 PM EDT. Ralston and Trout Run around 210 PM EDT.”
