Flash Flood Watch issued

A flash flood watch has been issued for Central Pennsylvania.

The National Weather Service said remnants of Hurricane Florence will “lift northeast from the Ohio Valley today and tonight, bringing locally heavy rain to Central Pennsylvania. Rain totals by late Tuesday morning will average between 1 and 2 inches over most of the area. However, higher amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in a few spots, which would cause flooding.”

With the ground already soaked from last week’s three days of rain, it’s won’t take much precipitation to cause problems.
