Ray W. ‘Bucky’ Kitchen
Ray W. “Bucky” Kitchen, III, 34, 117 9th St., Renovo, died June 1, 2016, at the Bucktail Medical Center, South Renovo. Born Nov. 14, 1981, in Lock Haven, he was the son of Ray W. “Buck” and Karen Rottmann Kitchen, who survive in Renovo.
On Oct. 14, 2010, he married Ashley M. Zimmerman who survives at home.
Bucky was a 2000 graduate of the Bucktail High School and had attended Lock Haven University.
Bucky was a corrections officer at SCI Houtzdale, Pa., and had attained the rank of Sergeant. He previously was employed at First Quality and Northern & Southern Railroad.
He was a member of PEBTF.
He enjoyed anything with his kids, especially walking. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include three sons, Alex R. Kitchen, Andrew H. Kitchen and Keagan N. Kitchen at home; one sister, Natosha J. Kitchen of Renovo; one brother, Brian M. (Anita Crossley) Kitchen of Renovo; mother-in-law, Vickie Zimmerman of Winfield, Pa.; father-in-law, Randall Zimmerman of Milton; two sisters-in-law, Linzey (Kyle) Woolsey of Milton and Katlynn (Philip) Reed of Sunbury; one brother-in-law, Lucas Zimmerman of State College; and seven nephews.
He was also loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and “The FAM.”
A memorial service honoring the life of Ray W. “Bucky” Kitchen, III will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 4 p.m. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, with Martha Sykes officiating.
Friends will be received in the funeral home from 1 to 4 p.m.
