Casey Raleigh Parker

Casey Raleigh Parker, 25, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away Oct. 21, 2016.

He was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Toni Robb and Daryll Parker. Casey grew up with his grandparents in Lock Haven where he attended Woodward Elementary and Central Mountain Middle School. He later moved to Prescott, Ariz., where he attended Prescott Mile High Middle and Prescott High School, Class of 2009.

Casey enjoyed hiking, camping, snowboarding, mountain biking, boxing, soccer and little league and was a Boy Scout for many years. He was a violinist, played guitar and composed electronic music. Casey could make you laugh until your sides hurt. He was a master of slapstick comedy from a very early age. Casey was a self-taught person who would become fascinated by a subject and then learn everything there was to know about it. Like teaching himself HTML (computer language) at the age of 12. Casey had a caring, generous heart. His grandma saw him give away his last five-dollar bill to a homeless person without hesitation. Casey was a sweet, loving, deeply caring person who brought great joy to his family. He was a talented artist and was driven by creative passions. If Casey were here right now, he would say his greatest accomplishment was creating his daughter, Maria; he loved her with all his heart and stayed in Prescott to be near her.

Casey will be forever loved and eternally missed by his surviving family members — daughter Maria Minerva De La Sierra Parker, Maria’s mom Alyssa De La Sierra, mother Toni Robb, grandparents Charlotte and Robert Mall and Kenny and Helen Kocher, his aunts Rhonda Robb and Natalie White, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz. 86303, telephone: 928-445-2221.
