Madeline Douty Ingram
Madeline Douty Ingram, 85, of Howard, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2016, at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
She was born July 15, 1931, in Loganton, a daughter of the late Russell and Regina Swank Douty.
On June 16, 1953, she married the love of her life, William Ingram who survives at their home.
Madeline was a registered nurse and was involved with the family fuel business for many years. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Hublersburg. She loved playing bingo, crafting and trying her luck on Lottery scratch-off tickets.
Along with her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Michele Ingram; two sons, Wayne (Lori) and Kenneth (Stacey) Ingram; a brother, Herb Douty; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Karen Ingram.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Ingram, and a sister, Mildred Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, 355 Hublersburg Road, Bellefonte, with Rev. Andrew Morgan officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church from noon until 2 p.m. Burial will be at Hublersburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
