Jacob B. Eschenbach

Jacob B. Eschenbach, 74, 25 Schoolhouse Road, North Bend, died Aug. 10, 2017, at his home.

Born Nov. 18, 1942, in Renovo, he was the son of the late Robert and Alice Wilson Eschenbach. Jake was a welder and had also worked in the landscaping business. He had been a member of the Eagles and a social member of American Legion Post 442 both in Renovo, and he enjoyed working with Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Anna Riggle who lives in North Bend; three daughters, Donna Marie Eschenbach Davis of Ohio, Sandy Jean (Brian) Probst and Kathy (Robert) Hillyer both of Renovo; two sons, John “Tink” (Dawn) Green and Larry (Bobbi Jo) Green both of North Bend; three sisters, Kathryn Durandetta of Franklin, Ohio, Betty Romanak of Elna, N.Y., and Della Vanloan of Syracuse, N.Y.; also a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service honoring the life of Jacob B. Eschenbach will be held Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the North Bend Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
