Viola M. Rhinehart
Viola M. (Bauman) Rhinehart, 90, a former resident of Jersey Shore died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 at Susque-View, Lock Haven where she resided since July.
She was born in Lock Haven on Dec. 23, 1926 a daughter of the late Harry and Merrilla (Shade) Bauman.
Viola was married to Earnest H. Rhinehart who died March 12, 1993.
She worked as a cook for the Jersey Shore School District and was the head cook for the Jersey Shore football training table and was a member of the Booster Club. She was a longtime member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Jersey Shore Moose.
She was an avid Penn State and Jersey Shore Bulldog football fan. Viola enjoyed taking rides with her family.
Surviving are two sons; Steven (Ronda) Rhinehart of Lock Haven and Joey (Barbara) Rhinehart of Hamptonville, N.C., five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She is survived by a brother Freddy Bauman of Jersey Shore.
Viola was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with the Rev. Kerry Aucker officiating.
Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
Private burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
