Beatrice Louise Boone

Beatrice Louise Boone, 95, of Milesburg, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at the Eagle Valley Personal Care Home in Milesburg.

Born on July 14, 1922, in Howard, she was the daughter of the late Chauncey and Anna Matilda Cox Weaver.

On Feb. 9, 1946, she married Paul Boone who passed away on July 2, 2006.

Louise attended the Blanchard School. She was a member of the Gods Missionary Church in Milesburg. She worked a short time at Sylvania, Hanover at Oak Hall and Centre Hall, and at Penn State. She was a homemaker for most of her life.

Louise enjoyed her flower gardens. She was at her best when she was tending to the flowers and shrubs in her yard. She along with her husband, enjoyed going to auctions and flea markets.

Louise is survived by her son, Robert P. Boone of Howard; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann Ripka; granddaughter, Shannon Bobbit; grandson, Glenn Stem and 6 sisters. Beatrice was the last of her generation.

Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home in Howard. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Stephens officiating. Burial will be private at the Blanchard Church of Christ Cemetery in Blanchard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to donors choice.
