Roberta “Bobbi” Sue Harpster, 59, of Marsh Creek, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

She was born on July 10, 1959 in Bellefonte, the daughter of the late Robert M. and Marion E. Fox Dunlap.

She was united in marriage to Bruce Harpster who survives at home.

She was the owner and operator of Tender Years Daycare and most recently she was CEO of Quiet Reach Equine Assisted Therapy Center, where she helped individuals in dealing with personal and medical issues and especially veterans. She had a heart and passion for helping others.

Bobbi was a member of the Howard VFW Auxillary and the Milesburg Legion Auxillary. She had a love of horses and enjoyed riding and training them.

She enjoyed painting, helping husband Bruce with the farm and above all spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived along with her husband by, a daughter, Ashley (Mark) Leidhecker, of Linden; two sons, Robert (Jennifer) Dunlap, of Viginia Beach, and Chad (Stephanie) Harpster, of Beech Creek; four sisters, Bonnie Darlington, Diane Mattis, Connie Dunlap and Maribeth Dunlap and six grandchildren, Chase, Colton, Hunter and Ryder Dunlap, Mason Leidhecker and Alexander Harpster.

Friends and family will be received Tueday, Aug. 28, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main St., Howard.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
