Zora P. Brandt

Zora P. Brandt, 98, of Jersey Shore, died Sunday June 16, 2019 at the Manor Care Health Center in Jersey Shore.

Born Nov. 13, 1920 in Tyrone, the daughter of Jay Schlegel the former Zora B. Stewart.

She dearly loved her family and was a wonderful mother and cook.

Zora is survived by a son, Donald R. (Butch) Brandt, Jr., and daughter in law, Dixie Brandt, of Jersey Shore; two daughters, Linda K. (Lyle) Yandell, of Jersey Shore, and Deborah J. (Tom) Cooney, of Jersey Shore; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Brandt, Sr., on Sept. 21, 2014; a daughter, Sherry L. Ryan; two grandsons, Matthew S. Yandell and P. J. Fioretti; a great-grandson, Rodney Merrifield; and a granddaughter, Karen Brandt.

Graveside services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Jersey Shore Cemetery.

Family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made in her name to Dusty Fioretti c/o Donald R. Brandt, Jr., 267 Willits Road, Jersey Shore, Pa. 17740.
