Carol Lee Smith Kinley

Carol Lee Smith Kinley, age 75, of 13 Karkin Lane, Mill Hall, PA passed away Oct. 3, 2019 at the Susque View Home in Lock Haven. She was born in Lock Haven, Dec. 25, 1943 to the late Leroy D. and Doris I. Bower Smith Sr.

Carol was a graduate of the Lock Haven High School and a member of the Dunnstown United Methodist Church. She had worked as a supervisor at the former JC Penny Catalog Department in the Lock Haven area. She was also employed as a Therapeutic Recreation Aide at the Susque View Home, retiring in 2008.

Survivors include her husband, Dallas W. Kinley Jr., whom she married, May 16, 1963. One daughter, Amy Jo (Daniel) Cox of Browns Summit, N.C., also a son Dallas W (Jennifer) Kinley III, of Vancouver, BC.

A sister, Donna Weaver of Beech Creek, PA. along with a brother, Leroy Smith Jr., of Woolrich, PA and 5 grandchildren (Erika, Andrew, Megan, Lauren, and Macy) and three great grandchildren (Natalie, Brooklyn, and Maximillion.):

One of her greatest joys in life was playing games with her grandchildren.

Funeral services for Carol Lee Kinley will be held on Saturday Oct. 5 at 11:30 am in the Dunnstown United Methodist Church, 54 Church St. Dunnstown. Officiating will be Pastor John J. Saldana. Interment will take place in the Dunnstown Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received in the church from 10:30 am until the time of the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC. Lock Haven, PA.

Memorials will be accepted to the Dunnstown United Methodist Church General Fund, 54 Church Street, Lock Haven, PA, 17745 or St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
