“Justice and judgment are the habitation of your throne: mercy and truth shall go before your face.” (Psalms 89:14 AKJV)
If you are looking for real virtue, look to the Lord. He has what we all need.
“He that spares his rod hates his son: but he that loves him chastens him betimes.” (Proverbs 13:24 AKJV)
It is apparent that we need the good old ways in our world today. Loving discipline takes time and loving parents.
“And if it seem evil to you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15 AKJV)
We need more men like Joshua today. If men stood for God most of our social ills would fade away.
“Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.” (Psalms 73:17 AKJV)
Going to the house of the Lord can shed light on what is happening in and around your life.
“And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.” (Luke 5:16 AKJV)
If Jesus took the time to pray, we certainly need to do the same and more so.
“And Jesus said to him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62 AKJV)
A real Christian keeps going for and with Jesus.
