Each Saturday, The Express community newspaper highlights people, groups and activities our readers deem worthy of applause.
A big THANK YOU to the gracious lady who paid for my order at Dunkin Donuts last week. They were delivered to the great crew making candy Easter eggs at Salona/Mt. Bethel Church in Salona. God bless you.
APPLAUSE to the LHU football team and coaches and to the theater students of the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School. Both groups put forth a tremendous effort in helping the Millbrook Playhouse get cleaned and ready for the upcoming 56th season! Walls were moved, trees were cut down, cleaning was done, and much, much more thanks to the efforts of these young people and their leaders. We sincerely appreciate these folks coming to help us out on the first warm Saturday of spring. What a tremendous example of community helping community!

Folks, I want to take a moment and thank everyone who helped with this year’s Lenten services with special music, monologues, refreshments planning the service or just coming to worship God and his son, Jesus Christ, who died for us 2,000 years ago. I believe almost everyone will agree we were all blessed. It’s great to have Christians from so many different churches worshipping together.
