r The Clinton County Voter Registration Office at the Garden Building at Main and Jay Streets offers the following updated statistics for the week ending Sept. 16, 2016:

Total registrations 21,335, of which 8,943 are Democratic Party, 9,668 are Republican party, 114 are Libertarian party, and 2,610 are in other categories. There were 86 address changes, and 41 new applications. The new applications included10 Democratic Party registrations, 18 new Republican Party registrations, three new Independent registrations and 10 new registrations with no affiliation.

r Licenses and permits issue are sold in the office of the Clinton County Treasurer for the week’s period ended Sept. 13: One Bingo license, six boat licenses, 54 dog license transactions, one pistol permit, two licenses for small games of chance two military hunting licenses, three archery hunting licenses, two licenses for muzzle loading weapons, four bear hunting licenses, two mentored youth licenses, one disabled war veteran hunting license, one non-resident hunting license, one non-resident bear hunting licenses, and two lifetime renewals.
