Three-vehicle collision

LOGANTON – A three-vehicle crash occurred on the Valley Road in Greene Township on Thursday, Tpr. Christopher Soo of the state police at Lamar said.

Police said Thomas W. Owens, 81, of Loganton was driving his 2016 Ford F-160 pickup west when he turned left in front of a 2013 Ford Edge driven by Carrie Peters, 39 of Loganton. After impact, Owens’ truck crossed the center line and went into the path of a 2015 Chevrolet Cruz driven by Robert B. Corson, 39, of Reedsville.

No injuries were reported at the scene. Police were assisted by the Sugar Valley VFW and officials from Nicholas Meat Packing Co.

Drunk driving charge

MACKEYVILLE -Tammy Watkins, 50, of Howard, was charged with driving while intoxicated July 25 on Route 477 at the Ridge Road in Lamar Township, Tpr. Brian Evarts of the state police at Lamar said.

Police said Watkins crashed her vehicle and was arrested.

Disorderly conduct

DUNNSTOWN – Alexander Wayne Bowes, 23, of Trout Run was charged with disorderly conduct Saturday at the annual Jaycees Regatta festivities after being ordered to vacate the beer tent in Woodward Township, police said.
