Great again
If we want to make America great again, we need leaders like the leaders who founded this country. They were leaders who sought the wisdom contained in the greatest books. They were familiar with Bible, the histories of the Greek and Roman republics, English history, and the political and economic works of Montesquieu, Locke, Adam Smith and others.
Alexander Hamilton was able to translate the Bible from Greek to Latin. James Madison could read Latin, Greek and Hebrew. These were thoughtful men, with well-cultivated minds.
They were not the sort to scream, “I have always fought for the PEEEPAHLL!” or, even worse, to discuss foreign policy with the likes of Howard Stern.
