What makes for an effective school board member?

Integrity: Eric Probert has the qualifications and integrity to collaborate and work as a team member to do what’s best for Keystone Central School District.

Advocacy: Eric Probert will communicate the needs of our strong public schools to ensure their forward progression by establishing policies that positively affect our children and our schools. He is our advocate promoting the advancement of all of our students; yours, his, ours!

Trusting: Eric Probert will be fiscally responsible in regards to the budget. His genuine interest in finding solutions to alleviate the current budget crisis our district faces will lead to positive change.

Knowledgeable: Eric Probert is a PSU graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Science. His knowledge base includes economics, group communication, technical writing, statistics, chemistry and calculus. He has been employed as a Professional Forester by the commonwealth of PA for twenty-years. Eric and his wife, Stephanie, the regional vice president and director of care experience for VNA Health System, stress education in their home as proved by their two successful children who are KCSD students.

Committed: Eric Probert, a family centered man in our community, was instrumental in rebuilding Renovo Little League through his time grooming the fields, then coaching the players. He was a board member of the Endless Mountain Association which, among other things, established scholarships for Bucktail Area High School seniors by donating $27,000 to the Keystone Central Foundation.

Courageous: Eric Probert is not afraid to ask difficult questions and address the challenges our district face. Eric will be a driving force in guiding the needed checks and balances for our district.

Eric Probert’s character and qualifications are evident and it is these qualities that make for an effective school board member who will represent our area well.
