Thirteen words

Another shooting at a high school in Parkland, Fla., where a mentally deranged individual murdered 17 and injured 15.

Dr. Edwin Vieira explains how mass shooters could be stopped or casualties reduced by revitalizing states’ militia and reclaiming its Constitutional status.

His book, “Thirteen Words,” which explains how a well-regulated militia is necessary for the security of a free state, should be read by all gun owners.

James Jaeger, inspired by Vieira’s book, is making a movie titled, “Good Guys With Guns,” to be available on Oath Keepers Academy.

Certain state Constitutions talk of militia and the people’s right to keep and bear arms and they preceded the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and our Second Amendment. Virginia’s Declaration of 1776 reads, “A well regulated Militia composed of the body of the people trained in arms is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state.”

Pennsylvania’s Constitution states, “The people have a right to keep and bear arms for the defense of themselves and the state.” Our Constitution, Article 1, section 7, requires Congress to call forth the “Militia” to: Execute the laws of the union, Suppress insurrections, and Repel invasions. Revitalization of the Militia would be a right and duty required of all people between the ages of 18 to 45 to serve unless exempted for public service. Conscientious objectors who refused to bear arms would be charged an equivalent fee for Militia protection.

With millions of armed militia members available nationwide, Gun Free Zones sanctioned by politicians and predators would be eliminated, and protection for individuals, communities, states, and our nation from foreign or domestic domination would be immediate.

The NRA, with it’s name recognition, political clout, and 5 million members, could provide the leadership and training on defensive use of and firearm safety for the militia members. Vieira warned, “The only way to secure a free state for the people is to render every species of gun control impossible, by equipping the Militia with military-style firearms so Americans will never be governed by elites with a monopoly on firearms, and become subjects of a police state.”
