It doesn’t take a genius

It doesn’t take a genius to see what is going to happen next in many situations.

The proliferation of guns is one of them.

Most thinking adults realized long ago that this massive proliferation of guns in the United States of America would end up with massive gun murders.

Why? Simply because thugs, bullies, and the mentally unfit realize that a gun gives them the power of revenge, and that is what they crave.

And now we are becoming a nation of fear, which promotes the selling of more guns — supposedly for protection from the hoards of gun-carrying thugs.

So far we have had to place armed guards and metal detectors at many governmental buildings, a process that is extremely inconvenient and costs society hundreds of millions of dollars a year to maintain.

Now we are talking about “hardening” our grade schools. What a slick word — hardening.

What it means is simply defending it from the nuts who have all manner of military-type killing machines which are readily available by breaking into a car or house.

This hardening will require armed guards and metal detectors.

There are close to 100,000 public schools in the U.S.A. Multiply that number by the cost to keep armed guards and metal detectors and we are in the hundreds of millions of dollars a year.

And this on top of an economy that is already trillions of dollars in debt. But, when we harden the public schools, what is next. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what the nuts will figure out in minutes — they will hit colleges, churches, malls, theaters, sports arenas, and on and on. How long will it be until the local grocery store will have armed guards and your local barber or beauty shop?

The result of this gun madness will eventually run us into bankruptcy, besides permitting the destruction of millions of human lives. People do not think beyond Level One. SAD.

You think taxes are bad now — just wait.
