Ethics-challenged EPA leader

BOB POTTER

Boalsburg

In 1952, Republican presidential candidate Dwight Eisenhower promised an administration that was “as clean as a hound’s tooth.” Ike would roll over in his grave if he knew the current state of his party and the country he loved. The ethics stench coming from the Trump administration won’t end anytime soon. But that may not even be the worst of it. We will pay a heavy price for their actions long after they depart the scene.

Consider ethics-challenged Scott Pruitt, administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

A clean and healthy environment is the foundation for a livable planet and a decent quality of life. Fifty years of enlightened bi-partisan legislation has brought us improvements in water and air quality, and overall pollution reduction. Now Pruitt seems determined to destroy as many of our environmental protections as he can.

Candidate for Congress, Marc Friedenberg, will put a stop to this madness. Marc stands tall on the side of a clean environment and against Pruitt and the corporate polluters who are stealing our future.

We need Marc Friedenberg as our next representative in Congress.

Pruitt, and those in Congress such as Rep. Tom Marino who don’t have the spine to speak out against him and the environmental degradation he is leaving for all of us, are working against all of us. Pruitt must go and his accomplices like Marino must be voted out.

Pruitt is unethical. His policies are unconscionable and indefensible. Marc Friedenberg for a clean environment, and a clean Congress.
