It’s interesting that the same group of people who want to continually remind us that they are not against legal immigration fail to comprehend the difference between an illegal immigrant who is primarily a young adult coming here for economic opportunities and those who are fleeing violence and coming here as family units seeking asylum.

Although policies by the Trump administration over the past few weeks could call this into question.

It is those coming here seeking asylum who have had their children taken from them, not the “illegal immigrants.”

Let us not forget that Mary and Joseph were also refugees seeking refuge in Egypt with a young child.
