A suggestion about the $5 tax
JOHN W. MACMILLEN
Our Clinton County commissioners are acting as managers and to some degree that is what they are supposed to be doing.
However, while managing they made a commitment to county residents to represent all of us and not just their interests.
To that end, I would like to suggest that they table the $5 vehicle registration tax issue and place it on the next ballot as a referendum for voters to decide.
We have the right to have a fair and just decision, not to mention the proper management of our county government.
