Another letter berating the voting mess in Florida. But let us be honest here, if the Democrats had won those two contentious races in Florida, Republicans would be screaming voter fraud.

Heck, when they win they still claim voter fraud because they did not win the popular vote!

While local conservatives are raking Democrats over the coals for what happened in Florida again, one would think that since Republicans have been in power in that state they would have this under control by now. Go figure!

But it isn’t only Florida. Republican legislators in Michigan and Wisconsin do not like the result of their state elections and have concocted bills to strip power away from the offices that Democrats won. Michigan went even further by gutting initiatives voted on by the public in referendums. Not to be left out, North Carolina is dealing with the taking of absentee ballots from voters for one race and not turning them in.

Talk about a messy situation. To top it off, there is a call from the North Carolina Republican legislators that only a Republican can oversee voting in their state. What could possibly go wrong?

So shame on the Democrats in Florida for the voting mess there, but truthfully Republicans are no better! Looks like neither party is for the public voting.

If they were, they would ensure things like this would not happen and that the people’s votes do count.
