Where’s the wool?

EUGENE MOORE

How sad, it appears Woolrich Inc. has very little presence here anymore. It has been in business for over 170 years.

The products are being sold with a Woolrich label along with a little tag that says “made in China, India, Bangladesh, Mexico and Indonesia.

Where are the jobs? Very sad.

Part of the problem, in my opinion, has been a lack of marketing, poor management, the internet and the global economy. If it’s Woolrich-made, it has to have wool in it.

It’s time to bring Woolrich-made back to Woolrich, not overseas.
