On June 14, we celebrate Flag Day. The Colonel Hugh White – Colonel John Chatham DAR ask that all heed the flag etiquette. Never allow the flag to touch the ground. To display the flag indoors, place the flag to the right of the speaker. Display the flag outdoors between sunrise and sunset, unless the flag is lighted.
Salute the flag when it is raised or lowered, when the National Anthem is played and saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
Stand at attention with your right hand over your heart and remove your hat during the playing of the National Anthem or saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
Please fly your flag on all patriotic holidays.
Take pride in your country.
