Ask your state representative and congressman

DONNA BERRY

Approximately one in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s disease; the only leading cause of death in the U.S. that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed.

It is imperative that we have elected officials who are working to make Alzheimer’s a state and national priority.

As Alzheimer’s Association advocates, myself and others were fortunate to meet with State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz and U.S. Rep. Fred Keller to discuss the staggering impact of Alzheimer’s on Pennsylvania and across the nation.

My fellow advocates and I shared our own personal experiences with this devastating disease. We implored Rep. Borowicz and Congressman Keller to be champions for the nearly 400,000 Pennsylvanians living with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

Please join us in asking your state representative and congressman to vote YES in passing legislation to end Alzheimer’s.
