Holiday storiesEverybody loves a good story, and Christmas (or the holiday of your preference) is the perfect time to share a story because the family is all together and everyone has finally taken a break from work/school/other obligations. My family always likes to get together and watch some of our favorite Christmas movies, like "It's a Wonderful Life," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Charlie Brown Christmas" and our personal favorite, "Home Alone." We also like to watch old home videos of ourselves on past Christmases and laugh at how excited we were to open presents. As you get older, it's hard to get that Christmas feeling and enjoy it as much as you did when you were a little kid. But I think the best way to do this is sharing the stories and traditions you loved when you were young. I recommend everyone sit down with their family and read the Christmas story from the Bible on Christmas, and watch all their favorite Christmas movies and read their favorite stories. It's a great way to share the spirit of Christmas with your loved ones, even if you're too old to cry from excitement about your new Barbie or Tonka truck.
