Stealing from graves
To the low-life who took two stainless steel solar lights out of the vases on the graves of my father and step-father at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Woolrich: They were not yours to take. I called the police, but I want you to know you can return them to the office at Rest Haven. Stealing means to take another person’s proptery, to move in a sly way, to move secretly. This is what you did. Let me just say that every time those two lights come on at night and you are looking at them, I wish for you to see my fathers’ faces in them. I don’t know how you can live with yourself knowing that you steal from people’s graves. This happened between June 28 and July 11, which was also between my step-father’s birthday and he and my mother’s wedding anniversary. So it was already a sad time for us ... let alone for someone to steal from us.
