Clarence and Cynthia were married Jan. 4, 1958 at the Methodist Church by the Rev. Harold Davis at Elkton, Md.
Celebrating their golden anniversary with them were their four children and their spouses, Mr. Herman Eick of Debary, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Chalupa of Phillipsburg, N.J., Mr. Jeffrey Eick of Howard and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Eick of Howard; their six grandchildren; and some friends.
Clarence is a retired independent truck driver, having retired from Davidson Bros. Trucking of Wingate. Cynthia is a retired registered nurse, having graduated from Hahnermann Hospital School of Nursing. Cynthia and Clarence traveled together with his trucking for several years before his retirement. Both are enjoying their retirement, Clarence working on improving his golf score and Cynthia enjoying gardening. They both enjoy traveling.
