Neva graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1941 and attended Anderson College in Anderson, Ind.

Before her marriage, she worked at Sylvania, but after her marriage, her family and her home were what brought her great satisfaction.

Neva also took much pleasure in sharing her love of Christ with others. She was always willing to bear witness to the blessings that the Lord provided in her life.

Neva was a member of Crossroads Community Church. She attended Jersey Shore Church of God for many years, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and participated in women’s ministry.

She was a member of Jersey Shore Garden Club, where she cultivated her love of growing and arranging flowers. Neva was an accomplished artist and especially loved painting with watercolors and oil. Other hobbies that she loved were sewing, quilting and reading.
