Two arrested for narcotics sales

LOCK HAVEN — City police have arrested two individuals on felony narcotics charges.

Kalonji Jones, 29, of 5664 Windsor St., Philadelphia, and Holly Lynn Morgret, 22, of 411 W. Martin St., Avis, were take into custody on Monday, according to police.

Clinton County District Attorney Mike Salisbury said agents from the Attorney General’s Office and police officers from Pine Creek Township

assisted in the investigation and arrest of the suspects.

Jones was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin), one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance (cocaine) and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. All are felonies.

Morgret was charged with one count each of delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (cocaine) and criminal use of a communication facility, also felonies.

The arrests occurred in Lock Haven.

“The arrests are the result of the local community recognizing drug trafficking and contacting appropriate police agencies with information,” Salisbury said. “With all the hard work, dedication and team work shown by our law enforcement officers, these arrests are having a positive effect on our communities.”

Bail was set at $249,999.99 for Jones, and Morgret’s bail was set at $150,000. Both suspects are scheduled for preliminary hearings May 13.
