Man charged with terroristic threats



LOGANTON — Roger Lee Lucas, 26, of 147 Campground Road, Logan Township, has been charged with two felonies and seven misdemeanors in connection with an incident at his residence just before midnight Saturday, according to state police at Lamar.

Police said Lucas and Karen Marie Kelley, 27, of the same address, were in the living room of their home when the incident occurred.

Lucas was playing with a handgun which he unloaded and pointed at Kelley while pulling the trigger, police said.

Kelley told police she asked Lucas to stop and left the living room to go into the bedroom. Lucas followed Kelley into the bedroom where the woman was with their two children, ages 2 and 10-months, and again pointed the loaded hand gun at the woman, while the children were beside her, police said.

Police said the investigation is continuing. Further details were not available by press time today.







Harassment



MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating a reported incident of harassment by communications which occurred at a private residence along the Renovo Road in Bald Eagle Township at 3:32 p.m. April 8.

The victim, who is not identified by police, said he had several “text messages” that were harassing in nature.







Hit and run



BEECH CREEK — A hit and run accident occurred at 4:34 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at Beech Creek Furst Corner restaurant, according to state police at Lamar.

Police said an unknown vehicle struck a parked car owned by Ann M. Wadsworth of Columbia Station, Ohio, while it was parked in the lot.







Criminal mischief



RENOVO — Mina Ayesha Blair of 65 Gratazmure Road, Renovo, told state police at Lamar that the wire gate crossing an entry road to the wooded part of her property was cut on May 14. Police are investigating.







Simple Assault



FLEMINGTON — State police at Lamar are investigating a simple assault on an Avis man Saturday night.

Police said an ambulance was dispatched to the home of Alan Zuback, 27 of Avis, and Zuback was transported to Lock Haven Hospital with several injuries to the head. Zuback was uncertain how he obtained the injuries, police said.







One vehicle crash



BELLEFONTE — Ernest J. Milton of Bellefonte was the driver of a vehicle which struck a guardrail on Route 144 in Lower Greens Valley Road, Spring Township, Centre County, at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, according to state police at Rockview.

Milton was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of injuries, police said.







Gun missing



LAMAR — David C. Valentine of Philadelphia reported to state police at Lamar that he lost or mislaid a .380 semi-automatic handgun along Fishing Creek in the Narrows on Wednesday, May 14.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 726-6000.







Disorderly conduct



LOGANTON — Ronnie W. Wendell of Canton, Ohio, was reportedly urinating on the roadway adjacent to his tractor trailer in broad daylight, according to state police at Lamar.

Police said he will be charged with disorderly conduct. The incident occurred at 12:30 p.m. Sunday on the Exit 185 Interstate 80 ramp in Greene Township, Clinton County, police said.







Attempted burglary



DUNNSTOWN — State police at Lamar are investigating an attempted burglary which occurred overnight Saturday at the home of Betty Lachat on German Road, Woodward Township.

Police said an unknown actor forced entry into detached garage and fled. No items were reported missing. Anyone with any information is asked to call state police at 726-6000.







Motorcycle crash



WILLIAMSPORT —Lawrence L. Miller, 43, of 7520 Route 220, Linden, was admitted to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, with serious injuries suffered when his motorcycle crashed on Route 15 at the Perryville exit about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, according to Old Lycoming Township police.

Miller was not wearing a helmet when he lost control of his motorcycle, which went off the four-lane highway and down a grassy embankment, police said. He was thrown at least 10 feet off the cycle.
