H. Ray Martin

H. Ray Martin, 61, of 11 Ruth Lane, Mill Hall, died Monday, May 19, 2008 at Lock Haven Hospital.

He was born May 6, 1947 in Leitesburg, Md., the son of Eli W. and Ada R. Martin, who survive in Hagerstown, Md.

On May 6, 1967, he married Hazel Martin, who survives at home.

He was a self-employed dairy farmer.

He was a member of Lock Haven Mennonite Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Gwendolyn F. (Eric) Risser of Athens, Tenn., and Teresa R. Martin of Waynesboro, Ga.; two sons, Brian R. (Angela) Martin of Mill Hall and Dwight L. (Gloria) Martin of Waynesboro, Ga.; two brothers, Lewis G. (Elaine) Martin of Waynesboro, Ga., and James T. (Wilma) Martin of Hagerstown, Md.; a sister, Lucille M. (Thomas) Croutch of Hagerstown, Md.; and 16 grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Yarrowsburg Mennonite Church in Brownsville, Md., with the Rev. Ken Gehman and Roger Martin officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown, Md. Interment will be in Yarrowsburg Mennonite Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bald Eagle Boys Camp, 1077 Wilderness Trail, Mill Hall, PA 17751.
