Patsy M. Rich

Patsy Marie Rich, 52, of 22 Rich Lane, Loganton, went to be with the Lord early Friday morning, Oct. 3, 2008 at her home, after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side.

Born Sept. 1, 1956 in Richland, Ga., she was the daughter of Algier G. Brown and the former Sara Hudson.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Warren Rich. They were united in marriage June 7, 1974 in Columbus Independent Baptist Church in Columbus, Ga.

She was active in New Columbia Community Church where her husband, Steven, was serving as pastor. She was also active in Mount Pleasant Bible Church at Rosecrans.

For several years she was a wellness counselor and owner of Nature's Gifts.

Patsy was a graduate of Tennessee Temple High School and attended Tennessee Temple University.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Mount Pleasant Bible Church, 4561 Long Run Rd., Loganton. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2008 in the church. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Pastor Melvin Musser will officiate.

Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, is in charge of arrangements.
